Established in 1976, Key West Island Books has maintained our charm and originality, becoming a cornerstone of our community. Our mission is to offer a curated selection of books, including rare books unique to Key West. We provide a space where book lovers can trade in old books for new ones and place specialty orders with us.
Our Selections
We stock current national bestsellers, discounted recent bestsellers, and a full collection of Hemingway titles including rare Hemingway first editions. Our huge local authors section includes works from current and past residents, as well as a variety of local interest topics of the Florida Keys and Key West history, local fishing, snorkeling and diving, treasure coins and pirate lore, local ghosts and more.
